Terms of Business

Estimates:

The time required and cost of the index will be initially estimated on the information you provide prior to receipt of the publication. On receipt of the proofs this may need adjusting should the text be very dense or the time allowance is insufficient. Any revisions necessary will of course be done in discussion with you and a new estimate issued.

Printing of Book:

I normally work from screen. However should the need arise for the proofs to be printed in order to complete the index, you would be advised and a small charge to cover costs would be made.

Delivery Date:

I will agree a delivery date based on the date the proofs are received and the time required to complete the index.

Urgent Work:

In the event you require an index at short notice, this is possible although it may incur premium rates to cover costs.

Confidentiality:

I assure you of complete business confidentiality at all times

Payment Terms:

Payment must be made by 30 days after the invoice date. After this the Late Payment Interest Act 1998 may be applied.
